There are tons of different options for jig trailers out there, so finding the right one for your needs is crucial to fishing successfully. Seth goes into detail about what you should consider when choosing your trailer, namely movement and water temperature.
How to Choose the Right Jig Trailer Based on Water Temperature
If the water is around 55 degrees fahrenheit or less you'll want to choose a traditional chunk style trailer. These trailers have little to no action mimicking what the forage is going to be doing when it gets to that temperature. If the water is above 55 degrees fahrenheit you'll want to select something with some more action to it like the ZMan Billygoat or ZMan Turbo Crawz. These baits bring lots of action in their flippers and will trigger bites in warmer water.
