For finesse jig fishing, Pete prefers to use a baitcasting setup, despite the more common trend to use a spinning setup when tying on a compact finesse jig. Pete likes a round ball head jig, as it does well with coming through rock and wood, while also able to come through vegetation. Pair that jig up with a soft plastic that floats and you have the perfectly beefed up ned rig!
